Jorge Lopez Llorente is a bilingual writer from Madrid (Spain), who studied English Language & Literature at the University of Oxford. His poetry chapbook Dreamescapes, shortlisted in the Poetry London Pamphlet Prize, will be published by Alien Buddha Press in July 2025. His debut poetry collection in Spanish, Los ojos desdibujados, was published by Cuadranta (an imprint of Olé Libros) in 2021, after being shortlisted for the VI Valparaíso Prize. His poetry, fiction and articles in English and Spanish have appeared on Spain's National Radio (RNE), as well as in UK, US, Canadian, European and Latin American magazines like Under the Radar, Vagabond City, New Critique, Blood & Bourbon, Wildfire Words, The Dawntreader, Star 82 Review, Shorts, The Citron Review, Lothlorien, Divinations, -Algia, Mordedor, El Coloquio de los Perros, Santa Rabia, The Isis Magazine and Cherwell, among others. His poetry has also been translated into three languages. Apart from writing, he works in PR, communications and translation.
